God’s Financial Plan

We talk, think and hear about people being converted, and indeed, if we are not converted, we are not yet Christ’s. But money can also be converted. If money is used for wicked devices, it is a snare. But what if a person through their money gained, sets out to financially support the publishing of the gospel? That money has been used as a tool of righteousness which can unlock priceless treasures.

Tithing is a simple plan, but so effective that no other plan measures up to it, for it is God’s Plan! To tithe is to give 10% of one’s regular income, wages or increase to the Lord. If you tithe and trust fully in Him, your financial worries will be taken care of by Him. This continued obligation is not of the flesh, but is derived from the Holy Scriptures of God.

Malachi 3:10-12
“10. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.

12. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.”

Set aside one-tenth/ 10% of your regular income. Do this honestly and fairly. We do this to honor the word of God, and to receive blessings from His hands, trusting by faith that He will pour out a blessing unto us, we won’t have “room enough to receive” This blessing may or may not be financial in return, however we trust that we indeed will be blessed. We consider our tithe contribution to the Lord, holy and sanctified for his work. We are not resentful towards this, for He has allowed us 90% of our weekly income to take care of our finances. We trust him wholeheartedly, to provide much more for us, while using our tithing contribution to magnify the work of His ministry.
